[BOOM] Leaked Nexus 6P Presentation Reveals All Specs

0 1

Google Event is going to be held this Tuesday. Many leaks have already revealed information about the upcoming flagship devices Google Nexus 5X and Google Nexus 6P. Specs and render images of these devices have already been shared previously. Firstly, some images and specs and then the retail boxes of Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P and soon after that all the color options showcasing Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P in their full glory appeared on the Internet.

After the tons of already leaked information, fans thought that now everything will be confirmed directly on Tuesday in San Francisco where the Official Google Event will reveal all the devices and new Android 6.0 officially. But the leaksters just don’t want to settle. Now they have come up with a full-fledged presentation of the upcoming Nexus device from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei, Nexus 6P.

Nexus 6P Tech Specs

According to the leaked slides, it’s confirmed that the Nexus 6P will be the first ever Nexus device to feature a Full Metal Unibody Design with an astonishing, sharp, and crystal clear 5.7” WQHD High-Resolution Screen for stupendous movies, gaming, multi-tasking, work (hello, Android for work!) experience, protected with a tough and durable Gorilla Glass 4. The Device is powered by Snapdragon 810 v2.1 processor and a whopping battery of 3450mAh. There are dual front-ported speakers also and obviously USB Type-C for faster charging and quicker data transfer rates as we said before. All of the specifications stated were known except the battery. The battery is quite a new addition to the leaked specs and seems that the battery will provide enough juice to the user to entertain the device for a complete day.

Nexus 6P Design

In the previous leaks of the Nexus 6P, it seemed like the rear camera bump of the device is too bumpy but one of the slides being leaked show the device from the side angle where the bump is recognizable and it’s beautiful and not that bumpy as we thought, the back looks so slim and beautiful in the slide. We are loving the new and unique look of the Nexus 6P.

Nexus 6P Camera

“The camera allows in more light, so you’ll get better images in low-light situations than ever before”, states a slide being leaked which gives a little information about the Camera on the Nexus 6P. The slide also tells us about a new and faster Google Camera app which will help you capture moments quickly and in focus. The presentation also showcases some key features of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Now on Tap

We talked about Now on Tap previously too. Now on Tap will be one of the coolest features of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It will allow users to search anything being displayed on the device screen just with a Tap and hold on the home button. The feature was first showcased in Google I/O Developer Conference that took place over 3 months ago in San Francisco where the first preview of Android 6.0 Marshmallow for developers and enthusiasts was released. We tried the new feature “Now on Tap”. You can know more about it here.

Fingerprint Verification

Then there is the Fingerprint verification which is coming inbuilt with a pure Android device for the first time ever. Both Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P will come with Fingerprint sensor at their back.

App Permissions

In the next iteration of Android, users will be able to abandon any permission for an app. The granular system will allow users to take more control for the app permissions and is a very big step by Google to make Android more customizable and secure.

Power Effecient

Last but not the least, Battery Life is going to expand more than 2X because of the new Doze Mode and App Standby coming with Android 6.0. As we have experienced on our Google Nexus 5, the battery life has really improved after installing the Android 6.0 Developer Preview 3 as compared to Android 5.x Lollipop. The battery life is increased almost to 2X and we are loving it. You can view all the slides that are being leaked, below:

Personal thoughts about the name ‘Nexus 6P’

After thinking closely about “What could be the possible reason behind ‘P’ in Nexus 6P?”, we are on a conclusion. After knowing all the specs after those leaks like a metal body, unique camera design, and a fingerprint sensor, we think the letter P means ‘Premium’. That’s not an official announcement, that’s our thought about the name. We thought of sharing it with our readers, so we insist you to share yours.
