Lenovo Vibe K5 Note is the successor of Lenovo Vibe K4 Note which has been a huge success. The company has finally upgraded it and unveiled the Lenovo Vibe K5 Note.

Lenovo has added a few upgrades to Lenovo Vibe K5 Note like a better processor, an extra gig of RAM, and a better front camera.

Moto G4 Plus, on the other hand, is the latest device in the ‘Moto G’ series. While both Lenovo Vibe K5 Note and Moto G4 Plus have the same manufacturer, and that is Lenovo, there are still lots of things that are different between these two.

Key Features

The Moto G4 Plus comes with 16/32/64GB of internal storage plus a microSD card slot that can be used to upgrade the storage by up to 256GB, while Lenovo Vibe K5 Note comes with only 32GB of onboard storage. Both the devices come with a USB 2.0 connector.

The Moto G4 Plus is equipped with 2/3/4GB of RAM (depending on which storage option you choose), while the Lenovo Vibe K5 Note is equipped with 3/4GB of RAM.

Moto G4 Plus is running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow by default, with a stock like Moto UI. Moto G4 Plus is upgradable to Android 7.0 Nougat via OTA. Whereas, Lenovo Vibe K5 Note is running Android 5.1 Lollipop with its Vibe UI.

Moto G4 Plus features a front facing fingerprint scanner while Lenovo Vibe K5 Note features a rear back facing fingerprint sensor.

Display

Both the devices sport a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920×1080) display on board. Both Moto G4 Plus and Lenovo Vibe K5 Note have same PPI density of 401 so there should not be any difference in display quality.

Lenovo Vibe K5 Note is equipped with a 13MP rear camera (f/2.2) with phase detection auto-focus and dual-LED flash. Though, laser auto-focus is missing here.

Moto has used 5MP front camera (f/2.2) in Moto G4 Plus while Vibe K5 Note is equipped with a larger 8MP sensor.

Talking about the video recording performance, both Moto G4 Plus and Lenovo Vibe K5 Note can record only 1080p@30fps.

Performance

The Moto G4 Plus is packed with a Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor which is a midrange processor with standard performance. Graphics performance is powered by an Adreno 405 GPU.

Lenovo Vibe K5 Note comes with a MediaTek MT6755 Helio P10 octa-core processor which is also a midranger. Graphics and gaming are supported by Mali-T860MP2 GPU.

Battery

Lenovo Vibe K5 Note comes with a slightly powerful battery than Moto G4 Plus. Lenovo Vibe K5 Note is equipped with a 3500 mAh Non-removable Li-Ion battery. While Moto G4 Plus is powered by a 3000 mAh Non-removable Li-Ion battery.

Both the devices have a great battery size which can last for more than a day at least.

Pricing

Talking about the pricing, the Moto G4 Plus comes only in two variants in India, the 16GB variant with 2GB RAM and 32GB variant with 3GB RAM. Both are available at price tags of Rs 13,499 and Rs 14,999 respectively and can be ordered online via Amazon (buy 16GB or 32GB).

Lenovo Vibe K5 Note comes in two variants, the variant with 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM. Both are available at price tags of Rs 11,999 and Rs 13,499 respectively and can be ordered via Flipkart (buy 3GB or 4GB).
