The 2016’s Moto Z Force was a successful creation of Moto. It came with a new kind of modular support called Moto Mods. The idea was quite interesting. Now the good news is that according to some sources, there will be a successor of original Moto Z Force that will be called as Moto Z2 Force.
The images and video given below confirm that there will be a 2017 Moto Z Force that looks very much like last year’s.
The original Moto Z Force from last year was Verizon exclusive, but its successor i.e. 2017’s Moto Z2 Force won’t be. That’s according to renowned leakster Evan Blass, a.k.a @evleaks. If what he says is true then this would be a welcome change in Motorola’s US strategy. That’s not the only good news, Sprint is also said to receive at least one Moto branded flagship phone in 2017.
So, what’s new in Moto Z2 Force?
The most shocking modification out of all is the reappearance of the 3.5 mm headphone jack, which was contentiously removed from last year’s Moto Z series. That’ll be great news for anyone that avoided last year’s models because of no headphone port in the device.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC will power the Moto Z2 Force. Sprint has already acknowledged earlier that it has partnered with Qualcomm and Motorola on its LTE enhancement. There was no clue of the mystery device’s name but now we know it’s Moto Z2 Force.
According to these leaked renders, Moto Z2 Force features a dual camera setup on the back, more rounded edges, a dual-LED flash on the front, single speaker in the earpiece, redesigned solid-state fingerprint scanner below the display and a textured power button below the volume buttons.
There’s also a possibility that there’s going to be a Lenovo logo on the lower part of the right-hand side of the phone.
